A
self-taught artist, Betsy is a registered nurse by profession. She worked
fifteen years as an emergency department nurse. During that time, she wrote and
illustrated a coloring book for the children who came to the emergency
department for treatment. Now a full-time artist, she
has designed an inpatient pediatric book and is now
revising the outpatient pre-surgery tourbook. To date,
nearly 4 million books have been
sold.
Our
newest arrival, the "Sibling Scrapbook," is already in its
fourth printing! This coloring and activity book, based on Hospital Sibling Preparation Classes,
is getting great reviews from Childbirth Educators around the country. With
their input we have made many exciting changes to the new edition.
Betsy has just completed an exciting new book, "My Visit to My Doctor," geared toward physicians specializing in children. This book is now available. She has also revised the text and created a new cover for the popular book, "My Visit to the Hospital."
Betsy collaborated with two certified child life specialists and recently revised her outpatient coloring book. This newest book, "My Outpatient Adventure," is now available!
